AHHHHHHHHH!! I think I’m in shock!
So here is the story:
Christmas morning we are opening presents and Cassie hands me a wrapped box labeled that it is from my parents. I unwrap it to find a strange looking box with a mouse printed on it with many other things. Confused, I continue to open the box to find a Google Chrome OS Notebook!!!
Completely in shock that my parents were not only able to get one but that they were willing to give it to me! Once on the phone with my parents I started telling them how awesome it is and I thanked them for it. Finally I stopped talking long enough for my dad to respond with, “What’s a Google… what? What are you talking about?”. Ummmm… You don’t know what a Google Chrome OS notebook is?! “No.” But… “Honey… did we get Mike a Google laptop thingy?… No.”
Finally we figured that Cassie had mistaken it for a package that my parents had sent us around the same time. Because Cassie thought it was from my parents to me, she just wrapped it up and put it under the Christmas tree.
You should have seen the surprised look on my face when I unwrapped it. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED! : D Merry Christmas!
Our Christmas with family was great and we have enjoyed every minute of it. Look forward an exciting new year in 2011.
