Probably one of the coolest things I have built for a server. I am working on starting my own hosting gig focusing on helping students getting into programming the web. One of my biggest frustrations, when I first got started out with shared hosting, was not having much insight as to how the server was doing. I built a simple php/mysql tool to give my future customers exactly that insight with a status page showing historical load on the server. The load data is stored and displayed in a round-robin style with diminishing detail as the data ages. You can visit the test page at status.michaelgrace.info and will eventually move to its new home servermonsters.com
